About us

Haritima Food Products Pvt. Ltd. was registered on April 26, 2016, but its journey began long before that. The brainchild of Aarin Ratnesh Sorathiya, the company started with the aim of helping local chaiwalas across India source the best Assam tea at reasonable prices. The brand name, Haritima Chaiwala Ki Chaipatti, reflects this mission. "Haritima" translates to "green horizon" in Hindi, highlighting the brand's commitment to sustainability and eco-friendliness.

Today, Haritima Food Products has a strong customer base of over 10,000 chaiwalas. All products are designed to fulfill their requirements. Initially, Haritima dealt only in Assam CTC leaf and Assam CTC dust, but now it offers over 66 products, with many more in development and testing stages.

About the Directors
Aarin Ratnesh Sorathiya
Aarin Ratnesh Sorathiya, a certified Tea Taster and Blender from NITM Darjeeling, began his career working as an HR professional with an agro company. During his commute to the office and lunch hours, he visited many tea shops and spoke to numerous chaiwalas who inspired him. Initially, he wanted to start his own chain of tea shops or small cafes. Coincidentally, during this period, he also dealt with a few tea estate owners, which influenced his vision. He decided to provide good quality Assam tea leaves at nominal prices to chaiwalas across the country, helping them maintain quality and maximize profit. This vision led to the founding of Haritima Food ProductsPvt. Ltd.
